Seasonal Chart Interpretation Study Group

Is this the year you start learning to read your own birth chart? Do it in community. In this workshop you’ll not only learn the fundamentals, you’ll also learn how to extrapolate, research, and build a personal relationship to your chart. You’ll learn to ask better questions, interpret symbols somatically, and develop mental agility. People learn better with friends. The curriculum is custom-made for the group, by the group, using the cohort’s natal charts. Beginner thru intermediate skill level.

Stuck? Stumped? Bewildered by something in your chart or practice? Study with us! Currently taking registration for a Spring cohort that starts March 25 6PM-8PM Eastern (3 Wednesday evenings)

Feeling the Sky: A Somatic Astrology Circle

Hosted by the Academy of Intentional Magic. Join me for a check-in with the current astrological transits from an embodied perspective. Share your experiences with others (or not), and ask as many questions as you like!

What is happening in the sky—and how might it be meeting your life here on earth?

Feeling the Sky is a recurring monthly circle for reflection, grounding, and conversation. Together, we explore the current planetary landscape (known in astrology as transits) as a way of noticing themes, timing, and invitations that may be present in our lives and the collective.

You do not need to know astrology to join.

Each gathering includes:

  • gentle somatic grounding practices (breath work, stretching)

  • an accessible look at the current transits

  • space for reflection and journaling

  • warm, thoughtful conversation in community

Who this is for:
This is a space for the curious, the skeptical, the seasoned, and the brand new. Come as you are, whether you are seeking clarity, connection, or simply an hour to pause and listen inwardly.

Getting Thru It Together: with shea in the catskills + Cory Nakasue

How can we find support + community in these times?

For centuries, people outside the mainstream have used astrology + tarot for support during hard times. As we continue living through ongoing polycrises—climate crisis, ongoing pandemic, the occupation of our cities, the crumbling of our democratic institutions—it is becoming clearer than ever that no one is coming to save us. As June Jordan put it: We are the ones we've been waiting for.

Getting Thru It Together is a container to gather, reflect, create + support each other through this season of undoing + polycrises. Cory will guide us thru the current astrological transits that we're all experiencing, + shea will guide us in consulting the Oracle of the tarot to help us understand: What is the current quality of time? How am I experiencing it? What do I need? What do I have to offer? Where do I find motivation + spirit in the midst of what is so hard to face?

In each 2-hour zoom session, we will:

  • call in the dead

  • check in about how we're really arriving

  • hear about the current astrological transits from Cory + learn to see how these are impacting our personal natal charts

  • consult the Oracle

  • share out about practices + experiments that we might want to play with in the coming week

This space will include an optional Discord server channel for asynchronous communication.

You do not need to have any knowledge of tarot or astrology to be a part of this space. It's for anyone who is interested in gathering + learning something new + practicing their meaning-making skills in a group setting.

This will not be a space to bypass the horrors of the world. Our intention is for it to be a constructive space of mutual support, spiritual practice + bringing ourselves as we are to the situation. When we gather as a group, it can be easier to confront things that are difficult because we can affirm, mirror + support each other.

Our hope is that this space will be rigorous (about facing reality), creative, supportive, generative, motivating...+ even fun sometimes! May this space provide comfort for those who participate—not in an infantilizing way, but in a way that respects the inherent genius + intelligence that we all possess by virtue of our lived experiences.
